The beach is the story of a family of four teenagers who are taken to an isolated beach by their father following the brutal murder of their mother. Struggling to come to terms with the pain of their loss, they turn inwards and use alcohol in an attempt to blur the memories. It is based on a true story, 'Isolation' by Lucy Haden

Baseado numa história verídica, A praia conta a história de 4 irmãos adolescentes que são levados pelo pai para uma praia, após a mãe ter sido brutalmente assassinada. Na praia passam alguns dias a tentar esquecer o que aconteceu, imersos em álcool e nos seus próprios pensamentos, enquanto esperam que as coisas melhorem.
