"Kaniz" works in a vast Saffron farm in a village in North east of Iran. She works there with many other women while their husbands prefer to stay at home looking after the children instead of doing the hard job of picking flowers which is badly paied.
These women resemble the Saffron flower, on one hand they are very fragile and delicate, on the other hand so strong to put up with the cold winter.
