They sit, lay and stand around - waiting. For what? A film about the feeling of hopelessness, the deadlock and the frustration of indefinitely continuing inability to act and the complete lack of event whatsoever, forced upon refugees not only in Germany. In the calm before the storm, carefully constructed, very impassionate and esthetical pictures show us the asylum seekers living in the shelter in everyday situations like at lunch, getting haircuts, or while they watch TV. We hear about their problems such as trying to obtain work permits, trying to learn German and feeling excluded or not welcome. We are left with the question, how long can one handle living under such conditions, when will it all burst?
