Mendel, a young Hasidic Jew, has a secret. He loves Christmas. But when he learns of an impending visit from his strictly orthodox parents, his illicit yuletide world comes crashing down. With only half an hour to hide any incriminating evidence and a suspicious rabbi lurking downstairs, Mendel must pit his wits against the world's most stubborn Christmas tree.
