In general, 01010 is an animated video about homesickness, told in somewhat freaky and abstract way. However, the main idea of this video was to put a viewer in strange and unreal environment, slowly revealing different stages of bizarreness, eventually putting the viewer in quite more ordinary and known place. The main characters have an access to the world where they come form through some electronic HUD-like software. However, at the same time they are far, far away in the lonely place.
