Poet Wigald seems to have failed the test of life and sees therefore his only way out in suiciding himself. In the midst of his minutious preparations his father that has never really cared for him suddenly shows up and seeks Wigald’s attention: Wigald’s mother is up to leave his father, because she is in favour for her tennis teacher. During the longlasting monologue Wigald collapses and the family temporarily reunites at the hospital. But also then Wigald’s parents consider rather their problems than the ones of his son.
