Triptych (Moscow 2009) The video of a window outlook displays a sports field in Moscow, and the people in their everyday ways about this place. The display window, taken with a stationary camera, is divided into the real view of this outlook as well as in the reflection in the window. It has the structure of a triptych. In the left part of the video image the reflection is defined through the dark window frame. Symmetrical to the vertical position of the window frame is a direct view on the right side marked by a tree. The center is framed by the tree and the window. The slow rotation of the window changes the video image. A symmetrical structure is created or new things appear. The movement of people is repeated in varying delays in the reflection of the window. Apparently narrative moments by the actions of individuals are confronted by the abstract workings of the complex image structure. The important thing is the idea of symmetry as an ideal image structure. The repetitions represent visibility and time. The closed window is at the beginning and end of the sequence as a reference to the view. To reinforce the concept of the moving image, has been omitted sound.

Triptychon (Moskau 2009) Das Video eines Fensterausblicks in Moskau zeigt einen Sportplatz sowie die Leute auf ihren alltäglichen Wegen über diesen Platz. Der Bildausschnitt, mit einer feststehenden Kamera aufgenommen, ist unterteilt in den realen Ausblick sowie in die Spiegelung dieses Ausblickes in der Fensterscheibe. Er besitzt die Struktur eines Triptychons. Im linken Bildteil wird die Spiegelung durch die dunkle Fensterrahmung abgegrenzt. Symmetrisch zur Senkrechte des Fensterrahmens wird der direkte Ausblick im rechten Teil durch einen Baum markiert. Die Bildmitte wird durch den Baum und das Fenster eingerahmt. Die langsame Drehung der Fensterscheibe verändert das Videobild. Eine symmetrische Struktur entsteht oder neue Dinge erscheinen. Die Bewegung der Menschen wiederholt sich in unterschiedlichen Verzögerungen in der Verspiegelung. Scheinbar erzählerische Momente durch das Agieren der Personen stehen den abstrakten Abläufen innerhalb der komplexen Bildstruktur gegenüber. Wichtig dabei ist die Symmetrie als Idee einer idealen Bildstruktur. Die Wiederholungen repräsentieren Sichtbarkeit und Zeit. Das geschlossene Fenster steht am Anfang und am Ende der Sequenz, als Verweis auf den Ausblick. Um das Konzept des bewegten Bildes zu verstärken, wurde auf Ton verzichtet.
