After suffering a devastating breakup, Sammy enters a period of depression. He finds himself sleeping a lot, and subsequently applies to participate in a university research study for long sleepers. During the screening interview Sammy is asked if he's on any medications. Sammy explains that the only medication he's currently on is a male enhancement drug that he's ordered from a television infomercial. Sammy's interviewer explains that male enhancement drugs are a fraud and therefore don't count as 'medication'. This comes as news to Sammy. He telephones the male enhancement drug company and demands his money back. The company representative instead convinces him to accept the company's offer of a consultation from a 'life enhancement coach' named Tabitha. Sammy acquiesces, and Tabitha arrives, and proceeds to instruct Sammy in the skills every real man should have: shooting a gun, driving a fast car, and being strong and decisive. Sammy attempts to use his new skills to woo back his ex through a series of voicemails, while Tabitha harbors other intentions for her protege.
