The video is based around the idea of humanizing deer and using their pure majestic expression accompanied with human perceptions of nature in the form of infographics and statistics.
I wanted to point out how we make use of animals and put them into systems for our own good. All this with a slightly humoristic undertone, to make a point of this not being a political message, but more like a philosophical study.
This is all intended to work in context with Matta’s hard hitting, dark and chaotic musical atmosphere.
