Two brothers, sitting on a park bench mid-winter, receive a call from Mom who unexpectedly announces a Family Meeting. As the boys walk through the cold streets towards their home, they argue about what could possibly be wrong with their parents. The younger brother Alex, 9, is full of ideas – wondering if Mom could be pregnant, or if one of them has cancer, or if possibly, they might be getting a divorce. His older brother Chaz, 14, dismisses all of Alex’s ideas, putting him down in true older brother fashion, but as they approach the house, it’s clear that he has become even more anxious then his precocious younger brother.
