Sammanfattning 

Butterflies is a short film created by Helena Papanikolaou, a student of the Department of Graphic Design at T.E.I (Technological Educational Institute) in Athens, Greece. The film was created for the animation 3 course , with the traditional method of 2D animation, drawn frame by frame by hand. There was used colored pencils - aquarelles on transparent rice - paper. The story is about a usual incident happening in the life of butterflies during the day. It is a cycle - story , because it ends at the exact point where it began, something like the unstoppable orbit of the sun or the earth around itself or with each other. It implies the cycle of life.
