„Walking from Cologne to Munich“ by Marion Kellmann – a travelogue in June 2011 Land surveying with a camera. Discovering the territory 370 miles between two cities. Short impressions of landscapes and people follow the chronology of the journey and create a visual rhythm of observing. Over the course of 3 and a half weeks I walked 370 miles from Cologne to Munich, carrying my camera and equipment in a backpack. While shooting, I followed the example of Oskar Fischinger and his way of creating the movie „Wanderung München - Berlin“(1927). I filmed short images - often less than a blink of an eye - of landscapes and people I encountered along the way. I didn't interfere. I just filmed what I saw and what- or whoever crossed my way.

„Köln – München Wanderung“ von Marion Kellmann – ein Reisebericht aus dem Juni 2011 Eine Landvermessung mit der Kamera. 600 km auf Nebenstraßen und Wanderwegen zwischen zwei Städten. Momentaufnahmen von Landschaften und Menschen folgen der Chronologie der Reise und es entsteht ein eigener, visueller Rhythmus des Beobachtens. Innerhalb eines Zeitraums von dreieinhalb Wochen bin ich im Juni 2011 von Köln nach München gewandert. Kamera und Equipment im Rucksack. Meine Filmaufnahmen folgten dem Beispiel von Oscar Fischinger und seiner „München-Berlin Wanderung“ aus dem Jahr 1927. Es sind kurze Einstellungen – oft nicht länger als ein Wimpernschlag – von Landschaften und Leuten, die ich auf dem Weg getroffen habe. Ich habe nicht eingegriffen, sondern nur das aufgenommen, was ich gesehen habe.
