“Two Little Undertakers – At the Opera“ is the second episode of a series of short films yet to be made in which two undertakers are engaged in an endless brother’s battle. They fight each other with passion in a brightly coloured world combining silent film aesthetics with the tradition of absurd British humour. In “At the Opera” the relentless fighting leads to the most bizarre situations. Due to an exploding car Feldman arrives too late at the already closed opera and has to use the stage entrance where he meets various peculiar characters. In the meantime Graham struggles not to spoil his date while trying to keep his pet, a banana he smuggled in the opera, from escaping his hat. But the banana breaks free and knocks out the opera singer, so Graham and Feldman are forced to take his place on stage.
