There's a side of Sicily that nowadays is being ignored, absorbed by a look that wants to keep that things considered, by the rest of the world, historically valuable and inimitable. It's not a bright and worthy side but a hidden and slummy one; a side that involves all conditions of living and inhabiting in Sicily: popular architecture, industrial development, urban rebuilding, a series of interventions that had deeply marked the sicilian places. "Gretti", experimental documentary directed by Piero Consentino and Gianmaria Sortino, explores the places of this reality, showing a side that is growing up in the shadow and remaining invisible at the sunlight.
