Thomas is a young boy who lost his father recently. He lives with his mother, Karin, in southern Brazil of 1942. As german descendentes they need to deal with repression from the goverment and the suspition from a comunity contaminated by the fear of war. People around this family will have to take a decision as well as Thomas and Karin will have to face their past.
