  1. How is my film protected against piracy?

If you submit your film to festivals, only the festival employees will have access to your film, since it will only be available on the festival's computers, not in the web. It is only when you agree that your film will form part of the Online Film Catalogue that your film will be open to the limited public of film buyers. In this case, reelport will protect your film by a series of measures against piracy (user management, DRM protection).

  2. May I submit a film more than once to the same festival?

No, festivals only accept one submission per film, if not stated otherwise in the regulations.

  3. What shall I do if I have missed the submission period of a festival?

If the festival extends the submission period, you will find the new deadline in the news section on the website. Otherwise you will have to contact the festival directly.

  4. Can I change the information that I have entered?

Yes, you can. After having logged in, you can enter the info sheet of each film that you have submitted so far, and edit the information given. However, the changes will not be considered by the festivals that have already downloaded your film file and the info.
