Modyst shares upto 70% of the revenue with filmmakers/content creators, offering multiple choices to their audiences with Subscription and PayPerView model. General Rules and Regulations:

Copyright & Intellectual Property: The applicant (submitter) or producer/s of the film must hold and or own all the copyrights and intellectual property of the film or film materials in its entirety.

Payments Rules: Any filmmaker submitting two projects must fill separate forms and pay separate fee for each project. We reserve the right to disqualify, without refund of any or all submission fees. Any fee paid is Non-Refundable!

Submissions Categories and Eligibility Requirement:
Shorts: Must be under 20 minutes, including End Credits.
Long Shorts: projects between 20 to 50 minutes
Features: Films must be at least 50 minutes and above.
Web-series: Must be under 30 minutes per episode!
(Please discuss the runtime, episodes per series and other details with our programming team before submission. The submission fee for this category is charged only for the Pilot episode).

General Submission Rules:
Films can be as old as 5 years from the date of submission but not be Freely available to Public on the internet. Films that have had theatrical release or screened at festivals will be considered. For older projects please contact our programming team.

Re-submissions: Projects that have been previously submitted for consideration are eligible for re- submission, but only if the film/project has been changed significantly since the previous year/submission. Our programming team has the sole authority on its decision.

Language & Subtitles:
Projects in English Language: We require subtitles IN English with every project. Subtitles in another language may be requested.
Projects in Non-English Language: MUST provide with English Subtitles, as well as the subtitles of the original language may be requested.

Film Premiers: Please notify if your film is a Premier! (Country or World)

Completion Status: Any project submitted must be complete on the day of submission, or otherwise must be discussed with the programming team before submission and mentioned as work-in-progress.

Material & Formats:
Online Screeners: Private and Password Protected link only. (Via Vimeo or YouTube, etc.)
DCP: A hard copy in a Pen-Drive/USB Drive with Apple PRO-RES as well as H264 in [dot].MOV format. and 2 copies of DVDs.

Press KIT:
Stills: Every project is required to submit 3 stills from the film (Apart from poster).
Trailers: Trailers are a MUST for feature length films and web-series.
Poster/s: Every project is required to submit a poster! Two in case of features.

Shipping: All shipping and postage costs for the submission package/DCP and additional materials sent to and returned from MODYST must be borne by the applicant (producer/filmmaker). No cash on delivery shipments.

Review & Decisions: Once your Project is officially selected our programming team will contact you to discuss the filmmakers distribution contract/agreement.

(NOTE: These rules and regulations are only for film submissions, and must not be mistaken for distribution rules. Submission Rules and Regulations are subjected to change at the discretion of MODYST.)

Shorts
