The Valletta Film Festival is Malta’s largest film event, a live and communal affair that transforms Valletta into a city-sized cinema, with over 40 feature films and 25 short films being screened at several open-air venues and established cinemas around the capital. Masterclasses, panel talks, conferences, and debates also provide a platform through which participants can discuss film and contemporary affairs over the course of the festival’s programme.
